Aloha! We are delighted to welcome you to your 'home away from home,' here at The Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii.

During your stay, we hope you will take time to enjoy the wonders of Hawaii's Big Island. From snow-capped mountains to flowing volcanoes, to tropical rainforests and an amazing undersea world, the Big Island has much to offer the spirited traveler. We encourage you to discover the natural beauty and splendor of the island

We also invite you to luxuriate in our 32-acre resort, which has become even more luxurious under the Fairmont flag. We have recently unveiled our Fairmont Gold Floor, an exclusive floor for guests who prefer more personalized service and intimate surroundings, featuring a private Gold Lounge. We have also created an authentic Hawaiian look and feel to our magical outdoor 'Spa Without Walls,' including new waterfall massage hale (houses) and breathtaking oceanfront massage cabanas.

On property, make sure you look for the resident Hawaiian green sea turtles that haul out on our shoreline every afternoon. Or discover island-style fun and culture: paddle an outrigger canoe, sail aboard a Hawaiian double-hulled sailing canoe, participate in a cultural hike, learn to weave a coconut leaf basket and more from our Beachboys. On property, choose to play 36 holes of championship golf at the Francis H. I`i Brown golf course - home of the Senior Skins Game for a decade. Or opt for a game of tennis at our 10-court K-Swiss Resort Academy. For those who seek the ultimate in relaxation, lean back in a wide hammock at sunset and watch for the Kohala Coast's legendary 'green flash.'

We also encourage you to experience the talent of our culinary team. The Fairmont Orchid has four highly acclaimed restaurants, including a new deli and a new Japanese restaurant.
